By hosting only a limited number of events each year, we are able to give every couple our full attention, creative energy and time.
Between us, we’ve delivered hundreds of weddings and events, the big ones, the small ones, the loud ones, the quiet-but-special ones, the attention-grabbing themed ones and the think-differently ones.
But food sits at the heart of everything we do.

The Fold grew out of Henson’s Catering, a long-established, family-run catering business with thirty years of hands-on experience feeding people properly, looking after teams, and delivering unforgettable events.
Between us, we’ve provided a 5* service to over 3000 weddings, celebrations, large and small-scale events, so we know what makes guests talk about a day long after the plates are cleared.
That depth of experience is also why we’re building The Fold Academy, a place to pass on what we’ve learned about service, hospitality and running events well. Solid, professional standards shaped by years on the ground.

We’re not your average countryside venue, so we don’t start with packages, templates or a clipboard full of rules.

You come with ideas, half-formed, fully formed, wildly ambitious or “I know what I don’t want but can’t explain the rest.”
Our job is to listen properly, ask the right questions, and shape it into something amazing.

The space
A lot of venues are one decent room doing a lot of heavy lifting and that’s not how it works here.
The Fold is a collection of spaces, each built for a specific moment - arriving, gathering, eating, disappearing for five minutes, dancing like no one’s watching. And because the spaces are designed to work together, your day can unfold naturally, without awkward resets, room flips or that “what happens now?” feeling.

Rooted in the land
The Fold is a working homestead with real life happening around your day.

Homegrown produce where possible. Local suppliers always. Better food, fewer miles.

Compostable waste, no single-use plastics, recycling as standard. Quietly responsible.
